FreeMoovin’ Certification awarded by the CERAH
Our FreeMoovin’ sport wheelchair was put to the test at the study and research centre for the equipment of disabled people at the Invalides National Institution which is dependent on the Ministry of the Armed Forces. These tests included:
79 970 obstacles crossed at 8km/h;
- 200 000 double drum test cycles;
- 6 600 falls from pavements;
- Collisions;
- Stability tests in all positions
The FreeMoovin’ passed all the tests with success
! It is the only one in its category to have done so and it is made in France!
A French sport wheelchair which answers all conformities
Our wheelchair is now CE certified and answers European safety and security demands.
This certification also rewards the traceability of our products.
Finally, the FreeMoovin’ is part of the Title IV list of social security refundable products and services.
The 2 conformity certificates (N°22-079-A and N°22-080-A) rewarded months of work.
What is the CE marking?
This marking is mandatory for all products covered by one or several European regulations of the “New legislative framework” type (previously known as “New Approach”). It gives these products the right to freely travel across the whole European Union.
To append the “CE” marking on a product, the manufacturer must carry out or make people carry out controls and tests which ensure the products’ conformity to essential demands defined in related European texts. A “CE” marking is not a certification marking.
Thus, a product which does not have a “CE” marking cannot be put on the market because the marking confirms the conformity of the product to essential safety and health demands for consumers.
